Timeless wedding at Georgian Hills Vineyard in Grey County

Hillary and Darren wanted a timeless, classy wedding, something to look back on for generations. And they found the perfect venue for it - Georgian Hills Vineyard, a rolling estate in Grey County, Ontario, offers gorgeous views and awesome service for anyone looking to get married in South Georgian Bay.

Hillary and Darren have such a glamourous vibe to them. From the velvety tuxedo to the drop-dead gorgeous wedding gown, to their sweet, fun personalities. It was such a pleasure to capture their wedding day.

The wedding party - who wore classic black - all got ready at a family member’s residence overlooking Beaver Valley. This stunning view was the best backdrop for the first look. I love that everyone was able to still watch from inside through all the big windows, but still let Hillary and Darren have this special moment together. And his face says it all!

Hillary and Darren chose to say their vows until the big apple trees in the meadow at Georgian Hills Vineyard surrounded by their closest family and friends. It was such a lovely day too, not too hot for early September, and lots of hazy sunshine made the wedding day feel super dreamy.

I think my favourite part of their decor was the pure white bouncy castle that was hidden amongst the trees. We even took a few moments to have a fun bounce while taking photos.

When golden hour - the hour before sunset - hit, I took Hillary and Darren into the vineyard for some glowy sunset photos. I just love that these two were up for absolutely everything and had easy smiles on their faces the whole day.

If you’re looking to get married at Georgian Hills Vineyard, you’ll love the ample outdoor space from the vintage apple orchards to the rolling hills and sprawling grapevines. They have a lovely tent that they use as the reception space and a kitchen within their small barn.

Georgian Hills Vineyard is located about 25-30 minutes from Collingwood, where there are hotels and motels for your guests. Beaver Valley and the surrounding South Georgian Bay also has a ton of rentals for you to get ready and stay overnight in before and after your wedding day.

It’s also just 20 minutes from Blue Mountain Village, so you’ll have a place to have fun and enjoy the night before your wedding day!
