How many weddings do you take on per year?

It changes every year, but I accept a maximum of 26 weddings a year. I do this so I can give my couples the best experience and photos possible and not spread myself thin.

Where are you based?

I am based in Grey County, but I serve all of Southern Ontario, including Bruce County, Huron County, Wellington County, Guelph and Kitchener-Waterloo. I also travel all over Ontario, Canada and internationally.

How does covering travel expenses work?

All travel fees are included in the price, so you won't have to pay any extra for travel.

What is your typical timeline?

I guarantee a sneak peek within 48 hours. Photos will be delivered within 8 weeks after your wedding day. I'll provide you with a date, so you know exactly when to expect your gallery.

Can you photoshop us?

Sorry, but no, I do not alter people's bodies other than skin blemishes or anything temporary, like a bruise or scrape unless you'd like that to be kept in the photos. Please speak up if there is something you're insecure about so I can aware of it when I pose you.

Are the packages customizable?

Want a photographer to capture your elopement or intimate wedding? Want to add hybrid video/photo coverage? Need extra shooting time? Want to add a roll of film? All packages are customizable to fit your specific needs! If you are looking for something extra special, be sure to connect so I can offer a custom quote just for you!

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. I typically ask for a $750 deposit to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding day. Most couples elect for a bi-monthly payment plan, so you can split it up into smaller payments if that works best for you!

How long are your quotes valid?

Quotes are valid for 30 days after which prices are subject to change. Packages include travel across Ontario including the following coverage areas: Brantford, Hamilton, London, Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, Niagara and surrounding areas. Outside of Ontario? No problem. All travel costs will be included in the original quote so you know an exact number, not an estimate.

What if we need to cancel or reschedule our wedding?

If you need to reschedule, your retainer and any monies can be moved toward your new date if it is available and is subject to new prices. If you are cancelling, any monies paid may be refunded minus any work done for you and the retainer is non-refundable unless I can reschedule your original date. Please refer to your contract for more details.

Do you help in the planning process?

For sure!! I'm a bit of a type A so I can absolutely help you plan the perfect day. Let me know what you need and how I can help! That said I am not a wedding planner, but I have been to several weddings and can offer a lot of advice!

How long have you been a photographer?

I first picked up a film camera in 2007. Sold my first photo in 2009 and became a professional photographer in 2013. I worked in newspapers and magazines before starting wedding photographer in 2019.

Do you work internationally?

Absolutely. If an adventurous destination wedding is your jam, it's my jam too! Please fill out the form and we can discuss your options!

How many images do you include?

This all depends on what you are looking for and how long I am your photographer for. For elopements, I typically deliver a minimum of 30 images per hour. For a wedding, I typically deliver a minimum of 50 images per hour. But every wedding is different and I believe in quality over quantity.

Do you provide RAWs?

No, not only are they in a weird file format you'll need a separate program to open, I fully believe that part of the magic you hire for me is the edited images I provide. I promise to never leave any photos out that you’ll want/need, and if you feel I missed delivering a photo, just ask!

What do we wear for photos?

Wear something you feel yourself in! I'll be sending over a session guide to help you through the process.

How do I book a shoot?

I'm so glad you're interested! Head on over to my contact page, fill out that form and we'll get the process started. After we go over a few details, we'll book a consultation to talk about your special day. If you'd like to move forward, then I'll send you a contract to sign and a $750 non-refundable retainer to save the date. Once I have both of those things, you are officially booked in my calendar. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding day. You can split it up into smaller payments if that works best for you.

What payment methods are available?

I currently accept bank e-transfer, interac or credit card payments.

What happens if it's crappy weather?

No one wishes for bad weather on their wedding day, but hey, no one controls the weather. I can work in weird weather, and it might even make for some spectacular photos. However, torrential rains, lightning, tornadoes and other inclement weather mean we may have to move this party inside or potentially reschedule a session.

What if you can't make it to our wedding?

This would only happen if it was something completely out of my control (act of god, illness, death, etc) If it were to happen, I would do my best to help find a replacement photographer to take my place that I trust with a similar style, with your acceptance. If I can’t make it to your wedding your money will be refunded. Please refer to your contract for more details.

Do you offer discounts?

No, I currently do not offer discounts for weddings or sessions. However, I periodically offer discounts on printed products and albums to clients. Keep an eye on your email for these special offers.
