An Intimate Wedding with Lots of Heart
There are some weddings where joy is so clearly a theme of the day that radiates from everything! This intimate summer wedding at Georgian Hills Vineyards was exactly this. From the moment I arrived, the energy was lighthearted, joyful, and full of excited anticipation. This skies were grey and moody all day, and for a while, it even sprinkled rain… but when it mattered most, the clouds broke and the most beautiful rainbow appeared. Talk about a little bit of wedding magic showing up at the perfect time.
Josee and Bryson were able to honour those close to them by using there MANY talents throughout the day. Bryson's mother created the vibrant florals and Josee's hair was done by a family friend. They chose to keep their ceremony small and intimate, being surrounded by only their closest friends and family, with more to come for reception. There was something really special about the way the day felt. It was clear that it was personal, heartfelt and completely true to them and their wishes for the day. As they rolled into evening, more guests join in the celebration and that's when the party really kicked off!
Instead of a formal plated dinner, they brought in a food truck which was such a fun twist! Guest grabbed their meals, mingled, laughed and were able to soak in the casual celebratory atmosphere together. It was one of those moments where you could feel how much thought went into making sure everyone was having a good time. A food truck is such a fun and unique way to serve great food to your guests without the need for formalized dining.
When it came time to dancing honestly, I don't think there was a single person who wasn't out on the floor at some point. The music was pumping! The shoes were kicked off! Everyone joined in with such enthusiasm! This wasn't just a wedding reception dance party, it was a full on celebration of the love, joy, and community that surrounded Josee and Bryson.
