I Love a Lifestyle Engagement Session
Jess and Franco’s in-home engagement session was basically a masterclass in how to be effortlessly cool and hot at the same time (their words, not mine… ok fine, also mine...have you seen them?!). When they told me their favourite things included hiking, road trips, thrifting, Nintendo Switch battles, travel vlogs, and absolutely demolishing oysters, it felt only right to bring all that magic home. I love an in-home engagement session because all your favourite parts of your daily life are here right at your fingertips. Bonus: you get to remember how amazing this period of your lives were together when you look back years from now.
So we did what any wildly in love couple would do: opened some red wine, shucked oysters, danced around their kitchen, and laughed a lot. Lily the dog supervised everything, obviously, making sure the vibes stayed elite. There was cozy romance throughout the whole session, eventually ending with pizza to seal the deal.
They wanted to remember how cool and hot they were in this season of life and honestly? Mission accomplished. It was intimate and relaxed. My focus was on immortalizing those tiny moments that feel huge later. The kind of night you wish you could bottle up and pour out in your old age and think "wow...look at us!"
Also, the black and whites?? Some of my favourites ever. Just saying...
