I love a couple who is up for anything! Walking barefoot on the cold rock? Sure. Piggybacks, rock scrambling, and twinkly lights? So down. I loved meeting Caleb and Jordyn. They are such a fun-loving, mellow couple who I had the pleasure of shooting at three locations around Algonquin Provincial Park during this awesome Adventure Couple Session.

What is an Adventure Session?

Well, it's engagement photos that are elevated! Typical couples sessions are around 2 hours and are at a location nearby to the couple, someplace of significance. Adventure Sessions, on the other hand, are longer and typically more adventurous. There's usually hiking, or exploring different areas, or even an activity!

Algonquin Adventure Engagement Session

This particular adventure session, planned by The Wild Souls Workshop took us to Algonquin Provincial Park. We hiked the short but steep Lookout Trail to this incredible viewpoint over the wilderness of Algonquin. Up there, we had a great session at different lookouts and in the woods.

The next location was Algonquin Outfitters on Oxtongue Lake, where we rented a canoe and got nice and cozy, all without tipping the boat!

Lastly, we found ourselves at Oxtongue River-Ragged Falls Provincial Park, which has just one short trail to the beautiful Ragged Falls. Here we got up close and personal with a waterfall and got cozy in a tent under some twinkly lights.
