Small Guest Count, Big Love

One Hundred Acre Wood is located just outside of Picton in PEC. Located on a family farm, their in-house approach to hosting weddings (chef-led farm-to-table catering, full-service staffing for bar and wedding set-up/tear-down) means that, whether mid-sized or intimate, their relaxed, natural, yet high-end vibes were a perfect match for Alex & Greg's dream wedding.

Both emergency service workers with big hearts, they wanted an intimate wedding with only their closest family and friends in attendance; the focus being on love, great food and memories. Choosing to have an intimate wedding can often be a great choice for couples who value connecting with every guest present, more flexibility to their day and less stressful timeline planning.

One Hundred Acre Wood Wedding Day

Alex and Greg chose to get ready in an Airbnb nearby, where they could both be in the same space, yet separate. The late fall wind was certainly in attendance for their outdoor ceremony, but they didn't let it stop them and laughed along with the gusts. Officiated by their close friend, they read really sentimental personal vows to each other (that maybe made me tear up a little) and had everyone beaming with love. Alex DIY'd heart-shaped flower petals to act as confetti when they were walking back up the aisle!

Their reception, though small, was so fun! Fresh oysters and not 1, not 2, but 3 signature drinks awaited the guests after the ceremony. Their cake was embossed with 'Endgame Baby', Alex and Greg's signature little motto for each other (how cute is that?). Dancing the night away with their closest family and friends, their day was true autumn magic.
