Why me?
I'm Olivia, an engagement, elopement and wedding photographer, based in South Georgian Bay, Ontario. When I'm not behind the camera - wait, I don't think I'm ever not behind a camera - you can find me travelling and exploring the outdoors with my sheepadoodle pup, Aurora.
As a type-A planner, I appreciate all the passion and details couples put into their wedding and absolutely love taking photos of it all.
I'm an extrovert and my love language is Words of Affirmation. So you can be sure that I'll be there for you on your wedding day, hyping you up, offering encouragement and becoming besties with your family.
I started my career as a photojournalist and even picked up a couple of awards for it. Through photojournalism, I found that I loved taking photos of people and their connections.

How this works
1. Pick Your Collection & Add Ons
Explore this wedding pricing guide! My wedding collections are simplified so you can build your own custom package. Each collection includes a coverage time, complimentary engagement session, planning guides, print credits and more. Add-ons include film photography, second photographers, day-before or day-after coverage, rush turnaround service and more.
2. Schedule a Call
Once you've had a look at the collections and frequently asked questions, then let's pick a time to hop on a quick call or video chat together. This way we can talk through your wedding day plans, vision for your day and what you would like to get out of your photography.
This part is super important! It's where we get to know a bit more about each other and see if we'll be a good fit. It's so freaking important to have a wedding photographer you connect with. After all, we spend one of the biggest days of your life together!
I'll also get to learn about your plans for the day, so I can recommend the right coverage for you and your wedding day needs.
3. Lock in Your Date
Once you've chosen the collection and any add-ons you want, I'll send over a contract for you to sign and set up a payment plan for you. I require both a $1500 retainer and a signed contract at the time of booking. This reserves your date in my book.
4. Yay! Now, Let's Make It Yours
Once you're locked in, this is when we get to make this experience completely yours. I'll connect you with some awesome resources to make your day absolutely perfect for you both. I'll deep dive into what makes you and your partner tick so that when you look back on your photos in 10, 20, or 50 years from now, you'll see yourselves reflected in this moment.
We'll chat about the best time and place to have an engagement session, and how to really make that engagement session reflect who you are as a couple. I'll help craft the perfect storytelling photography session, whether that's in your favourite coffee shop, your favourite hike, or in your home.
We'll also spend time chatting with each other about the perfect timeline for your wedding day. I've got resources for you to get started, and I'm always available for a call to talk through your ideas. I'll also craft a custom photography timeline for your wedding day based on the coverage you want.
5. Your Wedding Day
Your wedding day is finally here! All that time and planning put into your big day! It's going to go by in a blink of a eye so slow down and enjoy the moment. I'll be there to capture it all.
My approach is a mix of documentary (capturing what is happening, how it's happening) and cinematic (crafting scenes to make you look and feel your best).
I'm an extrovert, so I'm happy to mingle with your guests, chat with your uncle and become best friends with your wedding party all while I do what I do best, which is capturing the memories of your day.
6. Gallery Delivery
You'll get a handful of photos within 48 hours of your wedding. So you and your partner can shout from the rooftops that you got hitched! From there, your full gallery will be ready within 8 weeks of your wedding day.

I may be your wedding photographer, but I plan to be so much more than that. From day one, I’ll walk you through this journey so that you can thrive and come away on the other side with a remarkable experience that you’ll remember for years to come. I’ll also be there on the day to remind you how amazing you are, to pump you up and make the process feel as stress-free as possible.
Above all, I want you to be so comfortable in front of the camera that it disappears and you can focus on the one thing that matters most, the love of your life, smiling in front of you.
A few things you should know first...
You are not a business transaction
Every wedding is different because every couple is different. Building a real, genuine relationship with you matters to me. I want to get to know you two on a personal level, what your favourite activity is, your biggest adventure, your dream date, and so much more so that I can tailor your experience to you. Then once the wedding is over, I hope you're prepared for me to be hitting you up for the best brews in town for the next 30 years!
I'll be the type-A planner you want and love
My mom makes fun of me because I live by lists and planners. I’ll be your personal type-A planner when it comes to photography, so that I can provide you with an exceptional experience. Together, we will plan out every step of your wedding day from a photography perspective so that you get both spectacular photos and an enjoyable day.
I love ugly crying
It's more important to remember how you felt in the moment than how you looked. 1000000%. Don't worry about practicing your "soft smiles" or be worried if your makeup is running. Because in those moments you're probably feeling all your feels, so just let it out! If the photo captures your true emotion that, in 20 years, brings you right back to that feeling of the moment, then I've done my job.
Same goes for getting your attire dirty. It doesn't matter if you're inside, outside or in a mud puddle, your dress and/or suit is going to get a little dirty. Think of it as collecting memories throughout your day.
I'll take candid, emotional, unplanned, imperfect, real moments over so called "picture-perfect" moments any day.
People first, photos second
My first priority will always be your experience.
Success to me means that in five, 10, or 20 years from now when you sit down and pull out your wedding album, you remember all of the warm, fun and joyful memories of your wedding day. This is why I bring positivity and a sunny disposition to everything that I do and why I inject play and silliness into all my sessions so that couples will look at their photographs and remember all the fun they had at that moment.

For most couples, this is your first time getting married, and there are a lot of people in your life with a lot of opinions on what you should or shouldn’t do at your wedding. Consider me your third-party, objective friend guiding you through this time in your life so that your wedding day looks and feels like what YOU want. I have a ton of resources and guides and I’m always here to lend an ear or help answer a question.

Film Photography
I learned photography on film and I’ve collected 11 film cameras to date. Film adds such a timeless quality to your gallery. These often become some of my couple’s favourite images. There’s just something so nostalgic about film, like listening to a vinyl record instead of on Spotify. Film is full of character.

While I typically cover weddings myself, I recommend having a second photographer if you are getting ready in two separate locations or are having a larger wedding of more than 100 guests. Second photographers can also help me capture the moments I may miss if a lot is going on or when I can’t be in two places at once.

Day After Coverage
When you've brought all your friends and family together for your big day, I totally understand wanting to be present and savour every moment with them. So instead of taking you and your partner away for an hour on your wedding day for portraits, let’s just get together the next day for a little golden hour session. I will still take photos of you two on your wedding day, but this way you get to soak up all the magic of your wedding day and have a stress-free session with no time crunch. We can also head out to a different location beyond your venue.

My wedding turnaround time is typically 8 weeks, but if you’d like all your photos back quicker, I’ll bump you to the front of the editing queue.
